The Emirates Pilot Selection Process
Step 1: Online Application
Thousands apply. Your CV and application must be ATS-optimized and aligned with Emirates’ core values, operational scope, and international standards.
Step 2: Psychometric Testing
Emirates uses SHL-style cognitive and personality assessments to evaluate multitasking, memory, decision-making, and behavioral alignment.
Step 3: HR and Technical Interviews
Expect detailed scenario-based questions. This is where your CRM, leadership, and systems knowledge are under the microscope.
Step 4: Simulator Assessment
You’ll be tested in an advanced full-flight simulator (often A320, A380 or B777) on handling skills, situational awareness, and threat/error management.
